PM No PM Run Thu AM 2 mile warmup, 2.5 mile cooldown, 3 x Sheldon Estates Loop (Hilly + Muddy, Approx. 2 miles) 10 miles total 10:50, 10:23, 10:17 (had to be 15-30 sec faster each loop to continue running the workout) Majority of group was too fast on #2, so their workout was over. Sat AM 4 miles 6:30 pace Ran @ 6:00 am because we're working the Hansons 5k today then leaving for Chicago. PM 9 miles 59:00 Easy paced run through downtown Chicago, led by Mr. Chicago himself, Donnie Franzen Sun AM 1.5 mile shakeout run, 2.5 mile warmup, Shamrock Shuffle 8k Race, 5 mile cooldown (14 miles total) 23:28 (4:43 pace) Placed 4th overall. Weather was perfect and legs felt great! PM Total Mileage: 101 Weekly Comments: One of my best weeks of training ever. Volume was good and intensity was high. Legs are a little tired and I've got some minor aches and pains, but my confidence is way up. Felt very quick compared to previous workouts @ 5:00 pace PM 5.5 miles 36:00 Wed AM 10 miles 1:02:00 PM 6 miles 38:00 Thu AM 2 mile warmup, 8 miles uptempo, 2 mile cooldown 6:00, 5:50, 5:40, 5:30, 5:20, 5:10, 5:00, 4:46 Ran at Stoney Creek. Last mile felt blazing! PM 6 miles 36:00 Ran on hard roads and sidewalks in Royal Oak. Fri AM 14 miles 1:22:00 Ran Clint's 14 mile loop. Entire run was at 6:00 pace or faster. PM Sat AM 10 miles 1:04:00 Ran some on trails in Bloomer Park. PM 6 miles 38:30 Nice and Easy run with Fox. Sun AM 16 miles 1:38:00 Ran Royal Oak 8 mile loop twice. Miles were all marked. 6:00 for almost every mile. PM Total Mileage: 112 Weekly Comments: This was a huge jump in mileage for me. My previous best was 101 miles, which I did this Spring. My legs are tired from the extra mileage, but I am feeling stronger everyday.
